How to customize course grid meta data and featured image #
The 3 fields for meta data that you see on the demo are dynamic and are coming from your Tutor LMS content.
The number of Lessons that will be shown on the course grid depends on the actual number of lessons that you have in that particular course.
The time for completion and the difficulty level you can set-up yourself by going to the course page. Go to Admin / Tutor LMS / Courses and click on the course to edit it. Then scroll down the page to see the Course Settings. Under General you will see the course Difficulty Level – you can set it up from there. On its right side you will see an option to set-up the course Featured Image. And under Additional Data you will see the Total Course Duration – you can set it up from there.
How to change the course author and assign course categories #
By default the Free version of Tutor LMS doesn’t allow you to change the course author. But we have developed a way to do it.
So to change the course author just go to the course page. Go to Admin / Tutor LMS / Courses and click on the course to edit it. Then scroll down the page to see the Course Settings. Under Author tab you will see a drop-down window to choose from the users with “instructor” and “admin” role in your site.
On the right side of the course author box you will see the box where you can assign a course category. You can choose one or a few categories from your list. At the moment, the course grid only displays one category – the first one in alphabetical order. If you have assigned more categories to your course, they will still be active, but they will not be displayed on the course grid.
