Understanding endpoints: #
Endpoints are additional parts of a website URL that trigger different content to be displayed when present.
For example, you might have a “My Account” page located at yoursite.com/my-account. When the endpoint edit-account is added to the URL — resulting in yoursite.com/my-account/edit-account — the Edit Account section is shown instead of the main My Account page.
This approach allows different content to be displayed without creating multiple pages or using extra shortcodes, and reduces the amount of content that needs to be installed.
Divi My Account Page Lite allows you to manage some of the Endpoint Options from your WordPress Admin Dashboard. To see the plugin options:
Go to WordPress/ Dashboard / Divi MyAccount Page
Default endpoints: #
WooCommerce includes several default endpoints for the My Account page:
- Dashboard – (Default view when opening the My Account page) Displays the user’s name and a logout link.
- Orders – Shows a table with the customer’s orders (if any), or a message saying “No orders yet” along with suggestions to browse products.
- Downloads – Displays a table with available downloads, or a message saying “No downloads yet.”
- Addresses – Shows the saved Billing and Shipping addresses, if available.
- Payment Methods – Lists any saved payment methods, or displays the message “No saved methods found.”
- Logout – Provides a link to log out and redirect the user to the login page.
Note: If additional endpoints are registered, they will automatically appear in the account menu after the plugin is first activated.
