1. General Settings #
Default Link Base URL #
Choose the page customers land on when they click a generated discount link.
By default, this field is empty, and links use your WooCommerce cart page.
You can enter another page URL, such as a dedicated discount landing page. Individual discount rules can override this setting using their own Link Base URL field.
Important: Changing this setting affects newly generated links only. Links you’ve already shared keep their original destination.
Provider Field Key #
This setting is used when connecting discount rules to Divi Email Optin forms.
The default value is discount_link. It identifies the custom field used to pass the generated discount link to your email marketing provider.
Leave the default value unless your provider requires a different field key. If you change it, make sure the corresponding custom field in your provider uses the same key.
The integration has been tested with MailerLite. Other providers may work, but should be tested before being used in a live campaign.
For setup instructions, see Connecting Discount Rules to Divi Email Optin Forms.
BOGO Reward Price Display #
This setting controls how discounted reward products appear in the cart for BOGO offers.
• Enabled (default): Displays the original price crossed out beside the discounted price. For example, €30.00 €0.00.
• Disabled: Displays only the discounted price.
This setting changes the price presentation, not the actual discount applied.
2. Troubleshooting #
The Discount Link Doesn’t Apply the Discount #
Check the following:
• Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active.
• Confirm that the discount rule has been published.
• Check that the generated coupon hasn’t expired or reached its usage limit.
• Open the link and verify that the selected product is added to the cart.
If the link was generated before you changed the rule, remember that existing coupons retain their original settings. Generate a new coupon if you want to use the updated settings.
The Subscriber Receives No Discount Link #
If you’re using a Divi Email Optin form:
1. Confirm that you’ve selected a discount rule in the module’s Content → Fields → Discount Rule dropdown.
2. Check that the Provider field key setting matches the custom field configured in your email marketing provider.
3. Submit a test subscription and check whether the generated link appears in the subscriber’s contact record.
A subscription can succeed even if the provider doesn’t accept the discount link field. If the link is missing, check the custom field configuration first.
The BOGO Reward Isn’t Appearing as Expected #
For BOGO offers, check that:
• The correct trigger product is selected.
• The customer has the required trigger quantity in the cart.
• The reward product and reward quantity are configured correctly.
The reward product is managed automatically by the plugin. Its quantity cannot be edited directly or removed independently. To remove the reward, remove or reduce the trigger product quantity so the offer no longer qualifies.
The BOGO Reward Looks Different in the Cart #
If your store uses the newer WooCommerce Blocks/Store API cart instead of the classic WooCommerce cart or Divi Cart module, some BOGO visual features may not appear.
For example, the reward row may not appear locked, and the coupon message may not be relabeled. The discount should still apply correctly.
3. Important Notes #
• Rule changes don’t update existing coupons. Newly generated coupons use the updated rule settings; previously generated coupons retain their original settings.
• Deleting a generated coupon also removes its associated WooCommerce coupon. Its link will stop working. Restoring the generated coupon entry from the Trash also restores the associated coupon.
• Subscription renewal offers need testing. The BOGO option to apply discounts to subscription renewals has not yet been verified against a live WooCommerce Subscriptions setup. Test it thoroughly before relying on it.
If you’re still experiencing an issue, check your discount rule settings and test with a newly generated coupon before distributing the link to customers.
