How to download and install layouts and demo content

After you purchase the Divi Trendy module pack you can download and use all our Demos and Layouts. To do it, please follow the steps below.

Step 1: Download the JSON files #

You can download the JSON files from the “Download Demo” buttons under each demo or from the “Download” button under each layout on the Divi Trendy Demo Home Page: https://divi-trendy.powdithemes.com/

Step 2: Import the JSON files #

To import the JSON files navigate to your website admin / Divi / Divi Library and click on the Import & Export option at the top. Then choose Import and upload the file/s there.

For the Layouts you also have the options to upload them from a page itself. Navigate to the page you want to upload the layout on. Then click on “Enable Visual Builder” and while you are in Visual Builder mode click on the “portability” icon of the builder menu and you can Import the Layout json file from there.

Step 3: Use them on your pages #

After you have uploaded the demo/layout files in your Divi Library you can freely use them on your site pages.

To load a demo, click on “Add new row” on the Divi Builder and add the row from library.

To load a layout you have to click on the “Insert Layout” button of the Divi Builder Menu. And then choose the option to import a “Saved Layout” from library.

What to do if you cannot edit elements in your Divi Library #

If you want and If it’s impossible to edit the elements on the Divi Library. Or if you can see there’s a ‘section’ and a ‘row’ but there’s no module for a global sections in your library. Or if creating divi library items on your site is not possible, please try the following solution:

Please go to Settings > Permalinks and re-save the settings there.
This should resolve the issue.
